Internet is buzzing with speculations and rumors surrounding the Nokia’s big bash press event to be held in Abu Dhabi on October 22nd. Tons of device launches are expected from the company in both its Asha and Lumia range of devices. Reports also indicate of a tablet which will be running on Windows RT. However, Nokia’s official blog has just posted an article which has fueled even more speculations. The image suggest that we might even see a laptop from the company.

It must be noted, however, this is not the first time Nokia is venturing into category of laptops. Company had launched a netbook (mini laptop) by the name of Booklet 3G back in 2009 which was loaded with Windows 7 Operating System and powered by Intel Atom processor. Though the device was exceptionally well, it failed to strike a chord with consumers. Now with the changing times, Nokia might be hoping to get better response to its laptop. Going by speculations, the laptop will be running on the Windows 8.1 OS, but other details are unknown.
Other devices in the image as per rumors are a phablet to be dubbed as Lumia 1520 (code named Bandit) and a tablet dubbed as Lumia 2520 (code named Sirius). The phablet is first for Nokia in more than one ways as it will be featuring the biggest display ever in Lumia range with 6” screen, that too sporting Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels It’s also rumored to be powered by latest quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. Lumia 2520, on the other hand, seems to be pushing Windows RT 8.1 OS, which is seen on very few devices like Microsoft Surface RT and recently announced Microsoft Surface 2. It’s said to flaunt a 10.1” Full HD display with quad-core processor and a 2GB RAM.
Reports suggest that Nokia is planning to launch as many as six devices in its press event. Most probably the lineup would include budget centric Lumia 525 (code named Glee), Lumia 1520 phablet and Lumia 2520 tablet and smart feature phonesAsha 500, Asha 502, Asha 503.
